Kanchenjunga Trek
Kanchenjunga straddles the border with Sikkim in the remote north east region of Nepal. The third highest mountain in the world, it is one of the most inaccessible and formidable of the entire Himalayas. It is a journey which requires a good degree of fitness.
We travel through old settlements with thatched farmhouses, wild coniferous woodland and on to remote Buddhist settlements where the locals somehow manage to make a living from the barren land.
The climax of this journey in both altitude and scenic splendor is undoubtedly the three days hike up the Kanchenjunga glacier where the views are quite simply overwhelming.
For an all round trekking experience a visit to either or both Base Camps of Kanchenjunga has it all.
We have included below itineraries to both South & North base Camps, it is also possible to combine both base camps into one itinerary. If this is of particular interest to you please contact us for further details.
