Chulu West and Chulu Central Peak
Our assent of Chulu west commences from a base camp in a small valley north of Manang situated of the main trail to the Thorong-La. To get to the base camp, we walk above Manang to a yak herder's hut from where we can see the south face of Chulu Central. Beyond the hut we follow yak pastures before trekking up to a ridge which leads to the hidden valley and camp.
